Description
Oriental spice. The black, triangular seeds are easily confused with onion seeds, but have little in common with them. The taste is peppery-bittersweet, which makes black cumin a good substitute for pepper. It adds deliciousness to flatbread and savoury snacks, Indian dishes with chicken, and must not be missing in curries and Kormas. If lightly roasted before use, the essential oils can develop to their best. An enrichment of every spice drawer!
