Made from the sweet nectar that comes from the coconut palm tree flower, it offers a warm and wholesome caramel-like flavor. Just like you would use table sugar, coconut sugar can be used in a one-to-one ratio to replace sugar in your favorite smoothies, desserts and recipes that call for that sweetened
taste. For tea we still recommend our acacia honey. Coconut sugar also has a significantly lower glycemic index (35) than table sugar (65).
